❓ What deposits and fees are required to secure my event date?
To reserve your date at CAD Luxury Event Venue in Connecticut, a $400 non-refundable retainer fee is required at the time of booking. This retainer officially secures your event on our calendar. In addition, an incidental or security deposit may be required and is refundable after your event, provided the venue is returned in its original condition and all policies are followed.
Final balances are typically due 30 days prior to your event date. We recommend reviewing your invoice and contract carefully so you can plan with confidence and enjoy a seamless booking experience.
❓ What are my responsibilities for cleaning and returning the venue to its original condition?
We ask all clients to leave the venue in the same condition it was received. This includes:

Removing all personal décor and belongings

Bagging trash and placing it in designated areas

Stacking chairs along the wall
Certain items, such as glitter, confetti, strong adhesives, or open flames, are not permitted. Excessive cleaning or damage may result in deductions from your security deposit. Our goal is to keep our venue pristine and welcoming for every celebration.
❓ Can I serve alcohol at my event — and what are the rules?
Alcohol is permitted at our luxury event venue in Connecticut with proper planning and compliance. Events serving alcohol must meet all state and local regulations, and a certified bartender may be required depending on the type of service.
Liquor liability insurance is mandatory, and all guests consuming alcohol must be of legal drinking age. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we reserve the right to pause or end alcohol service if policies are not being followed.
❓ What are the expectations for arriving early, staying late, and additional time?
Your rental includes access for your contracted event hours, which covers both your celebration and basic setup and breakdown. Early access or extended time may be available for an additional fee and must be arranged in advance.
Any time used beyond your scheduled rental period may result in overtime charges. We recommend building in extra time if you plan to decorate, coordinate vendors, or host a formal setup for weddings or corporate events.
❓ Is event insurance required, and what kind of coverage do I need?
Yes, Special Event Liability Insurance is required for all events hosted at CAD Luxury Event Venue. This protects both you and our venue in the event of accidental damage or injury during your celebration.
If alcohol will be served, liquor liability coverage is also required. Your policy must list CAD Luxury Event Venue, LLC as an additional insured. We’re happy to provide guidance on where to obtain coverage and what limits are needed for weddings, corporate events, baby showers, and private celebrations in Connecticut.

For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following are not permitted:
